As usual there are always big companies with deep pockets trying to shut down something great because they feel threatened by it. This time the hammer falls on Internet Radio.

I’m not going to dive deep into this topic but if you haven’t heard, the Radio Broadcasting Association of America, is trying to get Internet Radio companies to pay extremely HIGH royalty fees to the record companies. These fees are extremely high, much higher than mainstream radio. Since most Internet Radio stations are small companies they cannot afford the royalties so they will be forced to shut down.
